Should I Read Hunter X Hunter After Anime End
The chapters of the Hunter × Hunter manga series are written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi and outset published by Shueisha in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shōnen Bound. The first chapter was published on March ii, 1998, with subsequent chapters released with intermittent breaks ranging from one to 7 weeks. Still, starting in February 2006, the breaks increased dramatically in length, after which time a set of at least x capacity would be released. For more information, see the product department on the chief article.
An anime adaptation of the series was produced by Nippon Animation and aired on Fuji Television for 62 episodes from October 16, 1999 to March 31, 2001. The TV series is based just on the commencement 11 volumes of the manga, as frequent delays in the publication of the manga and an unwillingness to produce low quality "filler" episodes resulted in a lack of content. 3 DVD OVA series were produced by Nippon Animation, adapting subsequent chapters of the manga up to Chapter 185. A new Hunter × Hunter anime adaptation was announced in July 2011. Instead of continuing the story from the OVA serial, information technology restarted the story from the commencement of the manga in an attempt to accommodate it more accurately. The serial was produced by Madhouse and aired on Nippon Telly for 148 episodes from October two, 2011 to September 24, 2014.
The electric current manga chapters have been compiled into 36 tankōbon volumes in Japan by Shueisha. The first tankōbon was released on June 4, 1998, the most contempo on October 4, 2018.
In English language, Hunter × Hunter is licensed for publication by Viz Media every bit a part of their Shonen Jump Advanced line of graphic novels aimed at older teenagers (age sixteen+). However, this banner has since been dropped and all reprinted volumes no longer take the "Shonen Jump Advanced" logo. The beginning English volume was released on April 5, 2005, the most recent on August half dozen, 2019.
